International Yoga Day 2021 -2022

Since its inception in the year 2015, June 21st is celebrated as International Yoga Day at Bright School, GSEB Unit, Harni. Our yoga teacher Mr. Kamlesh Parmar and Mr. Manoj Rohit demonstrated easy yet beneficial Yog Mudra to the students in an Online session. The students of Std. I to VIII enthusiastically participated in it. Principal of our school Mam Kumkum Biswas, Supervisor Mam Uma Vansadia, Incharge of Lower Primary Sir Vimal Shah and Incharge of Higher Primary Sir Sameer Thakkar also enjoyed doing yoga with everyone.

Talk on : Physical Fitness & Adolescence

Today we live in a heterogeneous society. It has become inevitable to educate young students about adolescence. Hence a talk on Physical fitness & adolescences was organized separately for boys and girls for Std. V & VI on 30th August, 2019. Resource person demonstrated the way to remain healthy and fit through PPT & chrts.

Slogan writing 2019 - 20

A Slogan is a memorable motto or phrase in a concise manner that can be used in any content to appeal the audience. This competition was organized on 20th August, 2019. Students of Std. V & VI made scintillating slogans. Best students were honoured with prizes.

Calligraphy 2019 -20

Calligraphy is an art to create artistic writing. To make the students aware of different fonts, curve etc. calligraphy competition was organized on 20th August 2019 for the Std. III & IV winners were honoured with prizes.

Recitation Competition 2019 -20

“Poetry comes alive through recitation.” Students of Std. I & II had voiced down rhythmical creation through recitation on 23rd July 2019. The best budding stars were felicitated with prizes.

Talk on : Health & Hygiene 2019 - 20

“Your happiness is the reflection of our health.” Keeping this in mind, a talk on Health & Hygiene was organized on 12th July 2019 for Std. I & II. The resource person Ms. Avani Soni gave some important tips to maintain health and hygiene through PPT and charts. Children were appraised of the benefits of hygiene and advised to keep their body clean.

Investiture Ceremony 2019 - 20

Investiture ceremony is a prestigious function that takes place every year to appoint students as office bearers. The ceremony took place on 9th July 2019. The day was inaugurated with a promise by our newly elected leaders. The young leaders were brimming with confidence, sense of duty and responsibility. They were conferred with badges and sashes by the Chief guest Mam Ami Rawat; President of Mahila congress and Municipal councilor VMC and Shri Jiral Shah. The elected leaders and class representatives took the oath to hold the school motto in high esteem. Our honorable director Sir Jiral Shah congratulated them and guide them about their duties. Principal Mam Kumkum Biswas and Supervisor Mam Varsha Padhya blessed them for all the success in the future.

Student Union Election 2019- 20

The election process at Bright School replicates Indian Electoral process. Student Union Election was conducted on 2nd July 2019 in school premises. There were 3 posts : (1) School Captain (2) Head Girl (3) Head Boy Students of Std. V to VIII casted their vote for the post of given categories and choose their representatives. The winners are : School Captain – Parikh Ved, Head Boy – Joshi Dhairya, Head Girl – Shah Pari. The responsibilities are delegated to the students on a selected and elective basis.

Talk on : Good touch & Bed Touch

It’s now high time to teach the young children about “Good Touch and Bad Touch.” They are too young to understand the difference between right and wrong. Thus a talk was organized on 28th June, 2019 for Std. III & IV for the same. The main motive here was to inform the child about the danger, without causing any anxiety.

Yoga session conducted by Isha Foundation

Isha foundation, an International nonprofit organization conducted yoga session in our school premises on 14th June, 2019 for Std. VII & VIII. It was founded by ‘Sadhguru’ who is a yogi & mystic. Two volunteers Chhattrapal anna and Akash anna were present to guide our students with asanas. In this session volunteers guided the children how to be fit and healthy through yoga. They winded up the session with invocation.

Spell - O - Fun 2018 - 2019

Spell-O-Fun competition was organized in Bright School for Std. I to IV to increase the vocabulary of English Language. Students have showcased their word power through this competition. Best students were honoured with prizes.

Debate Competition 2018 - 2019

“Intellectuals can debate, ignorants just argue”. A debate competition for Std. VII & VIII was organized in the premises of Bright School. Students voiced their opinions through battle of words. Best performers were felicitated with prizes.

Web Page Designing Competition 2018 - 2019

Web page is a document that is suitable for the World Wide Web. To bring out the innovative and creative ideas a web page creation competition was organised in computer lab. Students were judged on the basis of graphics and templates. Best creations by the students were felicitated with prizes.

Talk on Conservation of Water

A talk on water conservation was o0rganised by Shri Kalyanraiji Sarvajanik Charitable Trust in the premises of Bright School. It was on International Campaign to emphasize the significance of water. Shri Sharnam Kumar Ji delivered a message on ‘Jal hi Jeevan hai’. Importance of water and methods of water conservation was also depicted through P.P.T. Brightians took an oath to save water & its resources. Our honourable Director Sir Jiral Shah, Principla Mam Kumkum and other dignatories were present in this show.

Investiture Ceremony 2018 - 2019

Leadership is the Capacity to translate vision into reality. The investiture ceremony of Bright School for the academic session of 2018 – 2019 was held with great pomp and dignity. Mr. Pankaj Aundhia the deputy collector and deputy Municipal commissioner was invited as the chief guest. The elected leaders swore by their duties. They were conferred with badges and sashes by our Chief guest, Principal Mam Kumkum and Our honourable director Sir Jiral Shah. The elected leaders and class representatives took the oath to hold the school motto in high esteem. Our honourable director Sir Jiral Shah congratulated them and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. Our supervision Mam Varsha and other dignatories were present in this ceremony. The function conclude with National Anthem.

Students Union Election was conducted on 3rd July 2018 in school premises. There were three posts : (i) School Captain (ii) Head boy (iii) Head Girl. Contestant of Std. VIII had nominated their names in relevant categories. Students of Std. V to VIII has taken part in this fair election. They cast their votes and chose their representatives. The winners are : School Caption : Shruti Patel (VIII C) Head Girl : Hiya Jagtap (VIII C) Head Boy : Purv Purohit (VIII B) The responsibilities are delegated to the studentds on a selective and elective basis.

Spell-O-Fun Competition

To increase the vocabulary and command on English language, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized Spell-o-Fun competition for Std. I to IV. Students confidently took part in this competition. It not only honed their language skill but also increase their speaking skill. Winner were awarded with lovely prizes.

Debate Competition

Debate is the battle of wits & words. Students of Std. VII & VIII expressed their opinions on the given topic. Their delivery was full of exuberance. Best performers were felicitated with beautiful prizes.

Rangoli Making Competition 2017 - 2018

Rangoli is a fabulous hand drawing art of India. It is usually made during Diwali, Onam and other Indian festivals. It adds beauty to the occasions. Hence, on the eve of Diwali festival Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized this competition. Best rangoli artists were awarded with prizes.

Fancy Dress Competition 2017 -2018

It is a fun to get creative beyond the boundaries to see the little wonders. Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized fancy dress competition to amuse these little wonders. Little buddies of Std. I & II were dressed with different characters of their choices. Winners were felicitated with prizes.

Web page is to create your own visual style to bring out the innovative ideas, Web Page designing competition was organized in computer lab. Students created very impressive designing and they were judged on the basis of content & graphics. Best performers were awarded with prize.

Elocution Competition

An elocution Competition gives students a good opportunity to combat with the biggest fear factor ie. stage fear. Hence an elocution competition for Std. V & VI was organized by Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan. Students expressed their views in explicit way. Winners were awarded with prizes.

Honoured the Veterans

“Grand Parents are the foot steps to the future generation.” In honour of grand parents day, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan had, invited the dignitaries of ‘Swarg Community Care’ on 8th September 2016. It is Gujarat‘s first residential and rehabilitation age care center. They also shared their valuable views on modern and past education system with the students of Std. VII & VIII (E.M. & G.M.). They tried to inculcate the feeling of sharing and caring towards the community.

Fancy Dress Competition

“Today’s Spirit is Tomorrow’s promise.” Students of Std. I & II participated in Fancy Dress Competition, organised by Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan. They confidently showcased their talent of their role models. Some unique and interesting roles were presented like School Bag, News paper, Astronaut etc. Winners were felicitated with prize.

Patriotic Song Competition

“Patriotism is one’s conviction that our country is superior to all other countries.” Patriotism depicts selfless love and urge to sacrifice in altar of motherland. To develop the feeling of patriotism, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized a Patriotic Song Competition for the students. Audience were over whelmed with the performances. The best singers were honoured with prizes.

Dance competition

"Dance is a form of expression just as speech, painting, philosophy or music.” To discover the talent in the students a dance competition was organized by the Bright Management. The enthusiastic dancers moved the audience with their stunning performances. The best dancers were awarded with prizes.

Tree Plantation

“Trees are God’s great alphabet. With them ‘He’ writes his thoughts in shinning green across the world.” The purpose of the tree plantation is to maintain our biodiversity. Keeping this in mind, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized a tree plantation program. Students had enthusiastically participated and planted saplings.

Talk on Adolescence

Adolescence is a transient phase in the life of every youngster. It is full of trials and tribulations. Thus to educate our youngsters a talk on adolescence was organized separately, (for the boys & girls) under the able guidance of Ms. Jalpa Thakkar from P & G (Proctor and Gamble) and Mr. Manoj Rohit.

Talk on good manners and habit

‘Manners easily and rapidly mature into morals’. A talk on good manners and habits was organized at Ambalal Unit for Std. I & II. Three golden words ‘Sorry’, ‘Please’ and ‘Thank you’ were beautifully highlighted on PPT by mam Neha.

Investiture Ceremony

Bright School (Ambalal Unit) celebrated the Investiture Ceremony on 11th June 2016 in the school premises. The invited Chief Guest was the Deputy Mayor of Vadodara – Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel and the dignitaries present were the Director Sir Shri Jiral Shah, Management Advisor Sir Nimesh Shah, Headmistress Mam Kumkum, Supervisor Mam Varsha. Investiture day is observed in order to vest the powers and positions to the elected and selected members of the student council.

Student Union Election

Student Union Election was conducted in the premises of Ambalal Unit on 1st July 2016. There were four posts - Head Boy, Head Girl, School Captain and School Vice Captain. Contestants of Std. VIII (E.M. & G.M.) had participated in their relevant categories. Students from Std. V to VIII (E.M. & G.M.) had taken part in this fair election. They casted their votes & chose their representatives. The winners are: (i) Head Boy : Shah Dhairya of Std. VIII E (E.M.) (ii) Head Girl : Mahagaonkar Hardi of Std. VIII C (E.M.) A Holistic Session by Shri Bhagya Sundra Maharaj Sahebji

A holistic session was organized at Ambalal Unit on 28th June 2016. Shri Bhagya Sundra Maharaj Sahebji delivered the message of peace of harmony; that to be spread across the society. Swami ji also narrated good stories of Swami Vivekanand.

“YOGATONE” (International Yoga Day & World Music Day)

We take immense pride and privilege that for first time Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan had amalgamated two important events i.e. ‘International Yoga Day’ and ‘World Music Day’ on 21st June – “YOGA TONE” under the able guidance of our dynamic director Sir Jiral Shah and with management of Bright, Ambalal Unit. Students of Primary Section (English & Gujarat Medium) with students including Secondary Section’s NCC, participated in both the events enthusiastically. They created a unique coalesce of the events being performed parallel which made the audience spellbound. Ms. Shivani Patel from Art of Living enlightened our students with benefits of Yoga.
