International Yoga Day 2021 -2022

Since its inception in the year 2015, June 21st is celebrated as International Yoga Day at Bright School, GSEB Unit, Harni. Our yoga teacher Mr. Kamlesh Parmar and Mr. Manoj Rohit demonstrated easy yet beneficial Yog Mudra to the students in an Online session. The students of Std. I to VIII enthusiastically participated in it. Principal of our school Mam Kumkum Biswas, Supervisor Mam Uma Vansadia, Incharge of Lower Primary Sir Vimal Shah and Incharge of Higher Primary Sir Sameer Thakkar also enjoyed doing yoga with everyone.

Talk on : Physical Fitness & Adolescence

Today we live in a heterogeneous society. It has become inevitable to educate young students about adolescence. Hence a talk on Physical fitness & adolescences was organized separately for boys and girls for Std. V & VI on 30th August, 2019. Resource person demonstrated the way to remain healthy and fit through PPT & chrts.

Talk on : Health & Hygiene 2019 - 20

“Your happiness is the reflection of our health.” Keeping this in mind, a talk on Health & Hygiene was organized on 12th July 2019 for Std. I & II. The resource person Ms. Avani Soni gave some important tips to maintain health and hygiene through PPT and charts. Children were appraised of the benefits of hygiene and advised to keep their body clean.

Investiture Ceremony 2019 - 20

Investiture ceremony is a prestigious function that takes place every year to appoint students as office bearers. The ceremony took place on 9th July 2019. The day was inaugurated with a promise by our newly elected leaders. The young leaders were brimming with confidence, sense of duty and responsibility. They were conferred with badges and sashes by the Chief guest Mam Ami Rawat; President of Mahila congress and Municipal councilor VMC and Shri Jiral Shah. The elected leaders and class representatives took the oath to hold the school motto in high esteem. Our honorable director Sir Jiral Shah congratulated them and guide them about their duties. Principal Mam Kumkum Biswas and Supervisor Mam Varsha Padhya blessed them for all the success in the future.

Student Union Election 2019- 20

The election process at Bright School replicates Indian Electoral process. Student Union Election was conducted on 2nd July 2019 in school premises. There were 3 posts : (1) School Captain (2) Head Girl (3) Head Boy Students of Std. V to VIII casted their vote for the post of given categories and choose their representatives. The winners are : School Captain – Parikh Ved, Head Boy – Joshi Dhairya, Head Girl – Shah Pari. The responsibilities are delegated to the students on a selected and elective basis.

Talk on : Good touch & Bed Touch

It’s now high time to teach the young children about “Good Touch and Bad Touch.” They are too young to understand the difference between right and wrong. Thus a talk was organized on 28th June, 2019 for Std. III & IV for the same. The main motive here was to inform the child about the danger, without causing any anxiety.

Yoga session conducted by Isha Foundation

Isha foundation, an International nonprofit organization conducted yoga session in our school premises on 14th June, 2019 for Std. VII & VIII. It was founded by ‘Sadhguru’ who is a yogi & mystic. Two volunteers Chhattrapal anna and Akash anna were present to guide our students with asanas. In this session volunteers guided the children how to be fit and healthy through yoga. They winded up the session with invocation.

Talk on Conservation of Water

A talk on water conservation was o0rganised by Shri Kalyanraiji Sarvajanik Charitable Trust in the premises of Bright School. It was on International Campaign to emphasize the significance of water. Shri Sharnam Kumar Ji delivered a message on ‘Jal hi Jeevan hai’. Importance of water and methods of water conservation was also depicted through P.P.T. Brightians took an oath to save water & its resources. Our honourable Director Sir Jiral Shah, Principla Mam Kumkum and other dignatories were present in this show.

Investiture Ceremony 2018 - 2019

Leadership is the Capacity to translate vision into reality. The investiture ceremony of Bright School for the academic session of 2018 – 2019 was held with great pomp and dignity. Mr. Pankaj Aundhia the deputy collector and deputy Municipal commissioner was invited as the chief guest. The elected leaders swore by their duties. They were conferred with badges and sashes by our Chief guest, Principal Mam Kumkum and Our honourable director Sir Jiral Shah. The elected leaders and class representatives took the oath to hold the school motto in high esteem. Our honourable director Sir Jiral Shah congratulated them and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. Our supervision Mam Varsha and other dignatories were present in this ceremony. The function conclude with National Anthem.

Students Union Election was conducted on 3rd July 2018 in school premises. There were three posts : (i) School Captain (ii) Head boy (iii) Head Girl. Contestant of Std. VIII had nominated their names in relevant categories. Students of Std. V to VIII has taken part in this fair election. They cast their votes and chose their representatives. The winners are : School Caption : Shruti Patel (VIII C) Head Girl : Hiya Jagtap (VIII C) Head Boy : Purv Purohit (VIII B) The responsibilities are delegated to the studentds on a selective and elective basis.

To increase the vocabulary and command on English language, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan organized Spell-o-Fun competition for Std. I to IV. Students confidently took part in this competition. Honoured the Veterans

“Grand Parents are the foot steps to the future generation.” In honour of grand parents day, Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan had, invited the dignitaries of ‘Swarg Community Care’ on 8th September 2016. It is Gujarat‘s first residential and rehabilitation age care center. They also shared their valuable views on modern and past education system with the students of Std. VII & VIII (E.M. & G.M.). They tried to inculcate the feeling of sharing and caring towards the community.

Investiture Ceremony

Bright School (Ambalal Unit) celebrated the Investiture Ceremony on 11th June 2016 in the school premises. The invited Chief Guest was the Deputy Mayor of Vadodara – Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel and the dignitaries present were the Director Sir Shri Jiral Shah, Management Advisor Sir Nimesh Shah, Headmistress Mam Kumkum, Supervisor Mam Varsha. Investiture day is observed in order to vest the powers and positions to the elected and selected members of the student council.

We take immense pride and privilege that for first time Bright School, Ambalal Bhavan had amalgamated two important events i.e. ‘International Yoga Day’ and ‘World Music Day’ on 21st June – “YOGA TONE” under the able guidance of our dynamic director Sir Jiral Shah and with management of Bright, Ambalal Unit. Students of Primary Section (English & Gujarat Medium) with students including Secondary Section’s NCC, participated in both the events enthusiastically. They created a unique coalesce of the events being performed parallel which made the audience spellbound. Ms. Shivani Patel from Art of Living enlightened our students with benefits of Yoga.
